Orlando pitcher Li-hong Chieu did his part in helping his team beat the Sausalito Meatballs, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The winner was Chieu. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Mark Arsenault. The Orlando winning streak has reached 3 games.
Carl Miller had a big bases-clearing double for the Calrissian in the bottom of the second inning. With Orlando leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Mark Arsenault, the 18th overall pick in the 2051 draft, and swatted a double to right. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Calrissian ahead, 4-0.
