Dismal Day for Outlaws, 15-2 Losers to St. Louis
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Claude Rowland, the St. Louis Browns defeated the Oklahoma City Outlaws, 15-2. Rowland slugged 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Browns. The losing streak for Oklahoma City has now reached 4 games.

Simon Ash had a big bases-clearing double for the Browns in the bottom of the second inning. With St. Louis leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Escalante and swatted a double to center. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Browns ahead, 4-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Jerermy Harris.
