Cook Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, July 1st , 2055 Eugene Cook of the Dallas Steers extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 4-3 triumph over the San Francisco Seals at Seabreeze Stadium. "Eugene has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Steers manager Mike Moore joked after the game.
