Muñíz Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Tuesday, July 20th , 2055 Robinson Muñíz, left fielder for the Cleveland Fire, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 1 hit in his club's 15-3 victory over the Charm City Baysox at Oceanic Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Robinson Muñíz struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Muñíz is currently batting .329 with 23 home runs, 55 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has 110 hits in 334 at-bats. |
