5 Hits for Jaxx Griffith Monday, June 28th , 2055 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Arthur Griffith is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Calgary Mounties at Karaharisis Stadium. The monster effort from the 20-year-old left fielder helped the Erie Jaxx get the win, 31-4. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Mounties manager Manuel Ortega. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Arthur Griffith hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
