Luis Romero Rockets 3 Home Runs Friday, July 30th , 2055 It was a good day for the Napa Winos and an exceptional one for Luis Romero. The 22-year-old shortstop sent three bombs out of the park to help the Winos beat the Chisago Lakes Lakers, 12-0, at Gentry Field. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Romero said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Luis Romero hit a two-run home run off Jack Stout in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jack Stout in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Larry Dennis in the 8th.
