Sunday, August 1st , 2055
5 times is the charm -- at least for Colin Harris.
The Cincinnati Pride center fielder tore up the Asheville Hippies to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Goodyear Field. The offensive onslaught from Harris powered the 24-9 Pride win.
"Harris was a tough out," Asheville manager Tim Hill said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Colin Harris grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jason Crites in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
This season, Harris has hit 2 home runs and posted a .406 batting average.
