Smith Batters Utah for 5 Hits
|
It was a big day for Peter Smith and he brought the Boston College Eagles along for the ride.
Smith led his club to victory, 8-7, over the Utah Utes at Shea Field, smoking Utah pitching for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. The 19-year-old center fielder later called the victory "sweet."
