|
Minnesota pitcher Robinson López did his part in helping his team defeat the San Francisco Seals, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Craig Jones earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 3-3. The win gives Minnesota a season record of 38-36.
Jesús Acosta had a direct impact on the outcome. Acosta contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Minnesota up, 3-2.
