Baseball Stars Association Names Gómez Best Batter

When it came to hitting the baseball, Juan Gómez was in a class by himself in the Baseball Stars Association this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding left fielder for Greenville tagged opposing pitchers for a .481 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 homers, 6 runs scored and 16 RBIs.
