Curt Robbins is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Baseball Stars Association Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.

Cozumel Reliever Named BSA #1 Pitcher
Wednesday, October 1st , 2053
When Luis Díaz strolls in from the bullpen, he is a good bet to nail down the victory for the Cozumel Reef Divers. That's the way it was last month as he performed his job in an almost flawless fashion. Today he was honored as September's Pitcher of the Month by the Baseball Stars Association.
The Cozumel pitcher compiled a 4-0 record, 5 saves, 15 strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA in 15.1 innings over 11 relief appearances.
Up to this point in the season, Díaz has fashioned a 10-5 won-lost mark, made 62 relief appearances and rung up 38 saves. He has a 1.52 ERA and has allowed 57 hits over his 71 innings of work, struck out 84 batters and walked 25.
