Today at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, the Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the Boston College Eagles despite a splendid performance by third baseman Bob Bell.

Bell had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Eagles pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Alabama to come away with the win. Boston College whipped Alabama by a score of 14-13.

Bob Bell hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
