The Greenville 84's overcame a pretty good performance by Maui third baseman Yifu Tsui, beating the Wave, 5-4, at Michigan & Trumbull. Tsui was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. Greenville reliever Herman Banks picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. Kevin Clark was tagged with the loss. Greenville has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

The 84's got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Santiago Romero. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the 84's.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Greenville manager Jim Dunbar.
