|
Dave Stephens of the Clemson Tigers humiliated the Washington Huskies at Doug Kingsmore Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Washington manager Max Jones, after the game.
Stephens whiffed 12 and walked 3 in the 6-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Stephens said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
To date this year in 9 starts, Stephens has crafted a 2-1 mark with a 2.95 ERA.
