Steers Take Tight Tangle
|
The San Francisco Seals and Dallas Steers provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Dallas Steers wiggled past the San Francisco Seals, 4-3, at Seabreeze Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Dallas pitcher Guy Harris. Domingo Hernández, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings.
Dallas got a knockout punch from Jason MacDonald. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," MacDonald told the Dallas Herald.
Dallas now has a record of 44-36 with the win.
