Ducks Rally Late to Clip Dallas
The Long Island Ducks defeated the Dallas Steers, 5-4, at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace. Long Island was led by two-time Gold Glove Award winner John McKinney, who was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The Ducks sit in second place in the Earth Division with a record of 43-38.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, McKinney hit a cutter from Chuck Strickland for a solo home run. The Ducks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said McKinney.
