The Sausalito Meatballs got a magnificent performance from pitcher Mark Arsenault, who muffled the Dallas offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Meatballs win at Albert Park. The winning pitcher was Arsenault, now 8-7. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 6. Johnny Quick wrapped it up, recording his 29th save.

Vic Rivers had a big 2-run home run for the Meatballs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Sausalito leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Rich Cervantes and swatted a home run to left. It was his 23rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Meatballs ahead, 3-0.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Arsenault after the game.

With the win, the Meatballs sit at 51-39.
