Calrissian Walk It Off for 43rd Win of Season
|
The Orlando Calrissian used the hitting of right fielder Carl Miller to subdue the San Francisco Seals, 11-10, in 12 innings. For the game, Miller was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. The 6th-place Calrissian improved to 43-47.
The Calrissian got a clutch hit from designated hitter Miguel Pérez. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Calrissian.
"This place sure got loud," said Domingo Matos, the Orlando manager.
