Sonego Now 9-4 After Beating Baysox
|
The Montreal Royales got great pitching from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Manuel Sonego, allowing them to bump off the Charm City Baysox, 4-0. The Royales now own a record of 45-47.
Sonego dominated for Montreal, raising his record to 9-4. Charm City hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 1 hit over 8 innings while striking out 7.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Montreal manager Jared Jones.
