					| Seals Nip Browns, 7-6 |
					| The home crowd had a good time watching the St. Louis Browns and San Francisco Seals get after it.
The timely hitting of Tad Buck helped the San Francisco Seals down the St. Louis Browns, 7-6. Buck went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Seals. Stephen Crosby snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-3 on the season. Bob Graham suffered the loss. Pedro Juárez earned his 16th save in 19 chances.

San Francisco took a 7-6 lead on Dwight McGregor's 12th double of the season. The 2-run double, which McGregor hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Gary Taylor visibly frustrated.

"This is not a one-man show," said Buck. "A lot of the guys stepped up."

The defeat makes St. Louis 39-54.
