The Houston Hammertime have swept the Spokane Trappers and are on to the Round 2. Houston won 7-1 today at TooLegit to clinch the Round 1.

"We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Houston center fielder Graig Bakke, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning."

Bakke won the award with a .500 batting average and a .556 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Houston Hammertime don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Olympia Marshalls - New England Whalers series. New England leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
