He captured the award on the strength of his 2.59 ERA over 48.2 innings. He also had 30 saves in 47 relief appearances, 67 strikeouts and only 19 walks.
He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Hugh Yi of the Bryant Hornets finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ron Zumaya of the Surrey Sinners finished third.

He may only be 24, but Nathan Rose of the Evanston Elitists has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Continental League.
The reliever was today named the CL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2056.
He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 13 saves in 47 relief appearances and 70 strikeouts in 62 innings. He had a record of 6-3 to go with his 4.50 ERA.
