He may have less experience than most of his 24 & Under's peers, but that didn't slow Lonnie Lilly down at all in 2051.

At the age of 21, the Surrey left fielder has been named the winner of the National League Outstanding Hitter Award.

He had a .331 batting average and a .411 on-base percentage this year. In 119 games he piled up 152 hits, 31 doubles, 3 triples, 58 home runs, 156 RBIs and 112 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ánibal Trevino of the Aberdeen Scorpions finished second in voting, while Jon Curry of the Jasper Cougars finished third.

The manager of the Concord Coyotes said he thinks Chris Hoskins is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2051 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Continental League Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .369 batting average and a .460 on-base percentage this year. In 132 games he piled up 184 hits, 41 doubles, 4 triples, 64 home runs, 163 RBIs and 144 runs scored.

He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Carl Miller of the Minnesota Death Stars finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Octávio Barrera of the Concord Coyotes finished third.

Matt Green of the Racers humbled hitters all season long and today celebrated as he hauled in the National League Pitcher of the Year trophy, the coveted Outstanding Pitcher Award.

The Del Mar hurler held opposing hitters to a .192 batting average while putting up a 14-3 record and a 3.64 earned run average. He started 27 games, pitched 180.1 innings and struck out 274.

He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jesús Castillo of the Chisago Lakes Lakers finished second in voting, while Adrián Cruz of the Del Mar Racers finished third.
