In an exciting Round 1 that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is 24 & Under's fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Del Mar Racers, who edged the Aberdeen Scorpions 4-3 to advance to the Round 2.

Del Mar won the final game by a 5-4 count to wrap up the series. Scott Ward earned series MVP honors, by hitting .296 with a .387 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Del Mar Racers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Millwall Lions - Concord Coyotes series. Concord leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
