The sweet swing of Raffy Boudreau has led his team through the Round 1.

The Olympia Marshalls star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Tuscaloosa Trout Slayers to advance to the Round 2.

The Marshalls won the final game at The Corral by a score of 4-1 and the series 4-1.

"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Boudreau. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."

For the series, Boudreau hit .476 with a .522 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Olympia Marshalls don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Waco Blue Cats - Houston Hammertime series. Houston leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
