Todd Knight took Reserves League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24.
For his spectacular campaign, the Knoxville Johnnys star has been named the 2055 Pacific Coast League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .333 batting average to go with a .397 on-base percentage. The native of Lakeland, Florida also added 30 doubles, 2 triples, 53 home runs, 134 RBIs and 124 runs scored.
He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 28. José López of the Knoxville Johnnys finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Jessie Field of the Knoxville Johnnys finished third.
