Player of the Week Trophy to Gibson

Albert Gibson is respected by most Waco Blue Cats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 25-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .375 average (9-for-24) with 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
This year Gibson is batting .260 with 33 home runs and 71 RBIs.
