North Stars Advance to World Series
|
The Minnesota North Stars are one step closer to the World Series.
The club prevailed 4-2 at Gibson Guitar Park tonight to eliminate the Nashville G-Strings and advance to the World Series.
The North Stars won the series by a 4-1 margin, with shortstop and series MVP Alain Genty leading the way.
"I'm proud of all the guys," Genty said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
The Minnesota North Stars will play against the Irvine Gang Green in the next round. Irvine won their series against the Boston Rebels 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the Final Four finishes.
