Manchester starter Mike Christian turned in an exceptional performance and got some last-minute help as the Foxes forced the Final Four into a decisive Game 7. The left-handed Christian threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball in a must-win situation against the Greenville 84's, keeping Manchester close enough to take the 4-3 victory on a 10th-inning walk-off. The winner of the series will advance to the World Series.

Manchester won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Holden Leonard on the mound for Greenville, designated hitter José Brito hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Foxes fans to their feet.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Manchester manager Josh Baker told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

Game 7 is scheduled for Thursday at Michigan & Trumbull in Greenville.
