Montreal Slaps 3-2 Loss on Fresno
|
Montreal parlayed a decent outing from starter Dave Parker into a solid win over the Fresno Pharaohs. The final score was 3-2. Parker picked up the win for Montreal, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Jeffrey D'Angle closed the game out for Montreal, earning his 25th save.
Right Fielder Martín Torres made an impact for Montreal, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Chris Gardner in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Torres was 1-4 with a double.
