North Stars Suffer 7-4 Setback
The New York Knights faced a tough opponent in Minnesota pitcher Brendon Cummings, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Kallipolis by a final score of 7-4. Cummings went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Dylan Newell finished the game for New York and earned his 24th save. The Knights go to 40-61 with the win.

New York used a clutch hit from Pedro Sánchez to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We'll savor this win," Sánchez told the New York Daily, "then get ready for the next game."
