Seals Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Dallas
|
The performance of Anastasio Rivera proved critical in helping San Francisco beat Dallas, 6-4. The Seals left fielder was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Al Jackson snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 3-3 on the season. Ron Anderson sewed up the save, his 14th.
Rivera had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Seals went on to win.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Rivera.
With the win, the Seals have a record of 45-60.
