Dailey Twirls No-Hitter Against RubberDucks
The Maui Wave relied on no-hit stuff from starter Nathan Dailey to defeat the Charleston RubberDucks 2-0 at Rainbow Stadium today.

"It's quite a thrill," Dailey told the media afterward. "This is a top-notch league. A no-hitter against any team in the league is something special. I can't believe I did it."

To get his name logged in the Baseball Stars Association records, he stopped Charleston cold and hitless, surrendering no walks and fanning 9 of the 29 batters he faced.

Maui manager José Betancourt was in a jovial mode after the game, kidding with reporters that Dailey "made managing easy today."

"I didn't have hardly any decisions to make like I usually do," he said. "I didn't even have to come up with a pinch hitter."

This year Dailey has a 5-3 record and a 2.84 ERA.
