A 5-RBI performance from shortstop Homer Laslett, who is tied for 2nd in the BSA in extra base hits with 61, led the Maui Wave to a win over the Dallas Steers, 9-3. The win puts Maui at 62-48 this season.

Franklin Tribble, the 22-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tribble contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Maui up, 3-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Wave manager José Betancourt. "We came out swinging the bats."
