The Seattle Admirals picked up a win at The Ship Yard, taking down the San Francisco Seals, 5-4. Starting pitcher Sergio Encarnación was a big reason why. Stephen Priester claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 4-1. Seattle got a clutch hit from Michael Byrd. The center fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Enjoyed this one," Byrd told the Seattle Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
