Kalamazoo Advances to League Championship Series
|
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese "bent but didn't break" against the Vista Panthers in the Round 2.
That's according to Zhong-xian Pai of Kalamazoo, who was named series MVP.
"Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said.
\nKalamazoo won the final game by a 8-2 count and the series 4-2.
Pai's MVP performance included hitting .375 with a .444 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Jersey Shore D-Bags - St. Louis Browns series. St. Louis leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
