Charlie Jones, who finished 3rd in the BSA in doubles with 41 in 2048, contributed to the Chicago win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
