Seals Rally For 7-4 Win
|
Behind the hitting of Neal Bennett, the San Francisco Seals stopped the St. Louis Browns, 7-4. Bennett was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Seals. Their 51-71 record puts the Seals 5th in the Earth Division.
Bennett had a timely hit for San Francisco in the top of the eighth. With St. Louis trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 2-run double. It was his 28th double of the season, making it 5-4, San Francisco.
