The Manchester Foxes knocked off the Yonkers Yetis, 4-3, at The Fox Den. Davey Burgos was a big reason Manchester won. The third baseman belted 2 home runs. Rob Stanley picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-11. Thomas Zorn was tagged with the loss. Manchester occupies 6th place in the Water Division at 57-72.

Manchester took a 4-2 lead on Burgos's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Wendell Mellant in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Manchester to the win.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Burgos said.
