The Maui Wave got a good effort from starter Nathan Dailey in defeating the Dallas Steers at Rainbow Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Dailey went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 1-2. Kevin Clark picked up the save, his 1st.

The Wave got a big at-bat from third baseman Yifu Tsui. For the game, Tsui was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Maui a 2-0 lead.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tsui.

Losses have been rare for the Steers, who are now 11-3.
