Pak Socks 2 Home Runs in 5-1 St. Louis Win
|
St. Louis center fielder Chae-ho Pak contributed significantly to his team's 5-1 win over the St. Charles Sheens. Pak, who won the MVP Award in 2049, went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Browns. The winning pitcher was former first round draft pick Ramón Longoria. He tossed 97 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. This win makes it 6 in a row for St. Louis.
St. Louis took a 5-0 lead on Pak's 17th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jeremy Gottfried in the bottom of the eighth, propelled St. Louis to the win.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said St. Charles manager Kevin Bush.
