Despite a great performance by London designated hitter Jasiel Briceno, the Nashville G-Strings defeated the Rippers by the score of 9-8 at Gibson Guitar Park. Briceno was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. The G-Strings lead the Fire Division by 8½ games.

Manny Prates was the walk-off hero for Nashville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the G-Strings second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
