Maui beat Dallas on the strength of starting pitcher Alex Simpson's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. James Horton, credited with the save, is now 37 for 42 in save opportunities. With the win, the Wave sit at 83-57.

The Wave got a big at-bat from third baseman Yifu Tsui. For the game, Tsui went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 32nd home run of the season gave Maui a 3-0 lead.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Simpson.
