No one was more impactful than Sixto Peña in the 8-7 Irvine win over Cozumel. Peña, who finished 2nd in the BSA in doubles with 45 in 2045, went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Tom Day. The Reef Divers are now 6-9.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when second baseman Alex Brown, who is tied for 7th in the BSA in triples with 1, hit a triple. The Gang Green went on to win.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Brown said.
