Blue Crew Fall Short, 4-3, at Long Island
|
SoCal got a terrific game from left fielder Samuel LeBlanc. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Long Island, 4-3. LeBlanc belted 2 home runs. Emerson Davis closed it out for Long Island, earning his 30th save. With the win, Long Island upped its record to 75-69.
Alfonso Reyna dealt the Blue Crew a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Long Island leading 3-2, Reyna hit a 1-0 changeup for a run-scoring single.
"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Reyna.
