Salazar Now 5-10 After Subduing Luchadores
|
Sausalito registered a win at Eagles Park by beating the Mexico City Luchadores, 4-0. Pitcher Augusto Salazar was one reason why the Meatballs triumphed. The third-place Meatballs improved to 77-70.
Salazar was in the zone all game. He frustrated Mexico City hitters while giving the Meatballs 7 innings of quality work. Salazar threw 92 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Salazar. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
