Outlaws Squeeze By Columbus, 7-6
The Oklahoma City Outlaws cut down the Columbus Coalition by the score of 7-6, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Guy Peterson. Peterson was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Outlaws. Jason DeLay earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 6-4. Emerson Davis earned his 1st save in 1 chances.

Oklahoma City needed the clutch hitting of Samuel LeBlanc to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Outlaws on top, 7-6. For the game, LeBlanc had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"Nice win for us," said Peterson. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The losing streak for Columbus has now reached 5 games.
