Admirals, Gandarei Blast Yetis, 11-1
|
Estanislau Gandarei helped his team muscle past the Yonkers Yetis, 11-1. In the game, the Seattle catcher slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 10 runs and scored three times. The Yetis fall to 5-11 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Gandarei had a key at-bat for Seattle early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 4-0 lead.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Gandarei told the Seattle Herald. "It's as simple as that."
