Suzuki slugs 2 home runs, Admirals Move to 110-47
|
Good production from third baseman Ienobu Suzuki helped the Seattle Admirals topple the Columbus Coalition, 11-1. Suzuki went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Admirals. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Seattle.
Jonathon Chappell made an early impact for Seattle when he stroked his 39th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the first, put the Admirals on top, 4-0.
Suzuki said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
