The Cozumel Reef Divers defeated the Chicago Machine, 4-2, in Baseball Stars Association action at The Island Ballpark. Cozumel pitcher Dawson McDaniel had a standout performance. McDaniel, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. Cozumel is now riding a 8-game win streak.

In the top of the ninth, Shawn Rocha stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Machine were trailing 4-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Chris Hale made a terrific pitch and Rocha flied out. Gone was the dream of a Chicago comeback.
