Dallas pitcher Chet McPhee had a large part in his team subduing the Maui Wave, 7-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Maui's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Dallas used a well-timed hit by Jessie Yoxall to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Steers ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Maui manager José Betancourt.
