Funfas Belts 2 Homers in 7-1 Win
|
The 7-1 Nashville win over London was due in large part to Fausto Funfas. The G-Strings center fielder went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Nashville leads the Fire Division by 7½ games.
In the top of the third, Funfas had a 2-run home run for Nashville. It was his 40th home run of the season and put the G-Strings on top, 2-0.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Funfas told the Nashville Bulletin.
