The 2051 season is off to a poor start for the New York Knights. The Knights fell to the visiting Yonkers Yetis, 8-3, at Bronx Municipal Park. Dan Olson earned the coveted player the game award for Yonkers.

Larry Cooke was 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Yonkers. The seven-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Juan Gómez. It was his 1st hit of the season.

"Dan -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Yetis manager Joe Rose. "He was the key to us winning."
