Nashville and St. Louis duked it out and the G-Strings came out victorious.

The G-Strings grabbed a win, 7-4, at Gibson Guitar Park, overcoming a fine effort from St. Louis pitcher Armando Aguilar. Aguilar went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Steve Neal, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits.

Nashville took a 5-4 lead on Miguel Pérez's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Pérez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Jesús González shaking his head.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Pérez.

The victory makes Nashville 13-11.
